Randy Lee resides in the heart of central Vermont. Just a few miles from the state’s capitol. He was once an on-air personality for Great Eastern Radio’s Froggy 100.9 (WWFY) and 107.1 Frank-FM (WRFK).
After beginning his broadcast career at Norwich University’s WNUB Lee sought to continue his work commercially. He began an internship with Froggy in January 2012. His determination and dedication led this opportunity into becoming a second part-time job all while continuing his education with the University.
In January 2013, Lee migrated from fill-in personality to hosting Froggy’s midday shift, weekdays from 10-3 PM, and Frank’s Late Afternoon Show, weekdays from 3-7 PM. Later that fall, Lee began hosting an producing Boot Scootin’ Saturday Night; a weekly program with an upbeat country format. This show would become Lee’s first #1 program in the Neilson ratings.
Aside from his on-air work, Lee also managed all digital platforms for Great Eastern Radio’s Vermont cluster of stations. Producing whatever graphic materials necessary to maintain the station’s branding.
In the spring of 2015, the Vermont Association of Broadcasters awarded Lee first place for the best radio station PSA. The spot, written and produced by Lee, is titled, “Last Mile Ride.”
The following year, in the spring of 2016, Lee graduated from Norwich University with a bachelor of Science degree in Communications.
Lee continued working with the Great Eastern Radio stations until the fall of 2019. Departing to pursue a new adventure and his own graphic and web design business.
